Street Photography

streetphotoThe perfect backdrop for a tough, down to earth “street photography” photo. A young girl pushing a baby carriage or someone comatose on the curb would help but graffiti is a great place to start. Many street photography photos are taken in pretty uninteresting places.  A switch from colour to black and white often gives the pic a much more dramatic feel. This picture is a bit unique in that the graffiti is already black and white giving the inner city flavour desired so the green grass in the lower right hand corner is a bit different. It almost looks like one of those pictures where the camera will accent one colour only leaving everything else black and white but, in this case, I didn’t.
