Northern Ontario

It’s against the law to pick these flowers in Ontario, not because the Trillium is Ontario’s Official flower but because it takes the plant seven years to bloom again. In the north you can see them. They’re pretty rare in Southern Ontario.
This is the dam with no name. If it has a name I didn’t see any sign giving any clues. Nice to look at. Nice to listen to. Such beautiful country. The bugs keep most sane people from living there. Just ask any moose in spring time, they’ll give you the straight story!
