This was shot in Mijas, Spain. These guys are doing what retired people pretty much do. It was beautiful in Mijas and while it seems appealing to chill out on cobblestone high in the Spanish mountains, I just don’t know. I guess I’m not ready yet. There is no particular rush to change and I try to balance out waiting with stepping out in faith.

And then there’s waiting for a cab and stepping out in faith when it arrives! Sharon was here as a young teen during a school trip. Even Mijas has changed quite a bit in the last forty years. The taxi service, however, has pretty much stayed the same. Situated in the mountains, Mijas has narrow winding streets that lend themselves to four legged taxi’s.  Now they come with brooms.

About Chris Sorlie

The kids are gone and I'm shooting pictures of all sorts of good things.
