Not Yet

A good rush. A good shot and a good stop. No score. Not yet. Soccer can be difficult to photograph. My Fz35 did alright but you really need a faster lens, faster focusing and higher frames per second to really get the job done. It was fun watching the girls play.

That’s my grand daughter in orange taking a rush. She’s quite the player.

    Your daughter’s ‘taking a rush’…..

Nice shots, but you know nothing about football terminology, amigo! You probably think the game is called soccer, for starters….!

    🙂

You’re “quite right old chap” as I think you lads say. Football is the name of the game. I haven’t a clue what you would call “taking a rush”. It’s a hockey term!
    What do you call it?

Hope all is well Gary. Things a bit busy here but good.

I think a lot of terminology in US sports doesn’t translate so well into football, because the former tend to be planned, and the latter more spontaneous.

You daughter could be charging down the middle, running down the wing, or running onto a long ball.

The more I see of soccer, opps, football, the more I like it. Thanks Gary.
Oh, the Fz100 looks very interesting! So does the Lx5.
