Not everyone gets to own a cottage in Northern Ontario. If fact, the truth is, most of us don’t. This was taken next door to my daughter’s place in Hamilton. They both have degrees. Jon continues to work towards his Doctorate. They both also carry a considerable debt load. I know the kids won’t be where they are forever. In fact, I think it’s true they will actually look back on these days of struggle as the good old days although this might not happen for a few years! Something to do with the human spirit.

So for now, they rent in what I would have to say is not the “ritzy” part of town and yes, C.N. is just across the street. There’s a pizza place not far from here with a similar image but fantastic pizza. I’ve had some good times visiting here.
