A cardinal rule for photographers, a rule I often break, is always have a camera with you. It has become obvious to me over the last few years that having a so so camera with you is better than having a great camera in your room. This is a case in point. We were docked in Mexico, Sharon was out shopping and I was on the boat reading on the upper deck. This helicopter came over for a look. A close look. Chris got a good picture! Wouldn’t have happened without my camera. I’m also aware as I look at my photos of our holiday how important the sun is. Yes, you can shoot in gray conditions but it’s not the same. In future I will shoot more indoors when that happens. Still learning……..!
