In my younger days I absolutely loved airports. Especially the smaller ones where you see aircraft coming and going, talk to the pilots and generally just hang out. Major airports didn’t qualify. Somehow, the airport at Long Beach has managed to keep it’s charm in spite of progress. Built in 1941, a lot of history and more than a few aircraft have touched it’s runways. Timeless.
