The Pacific Coast Highway

Driving the highway is a thrill in itself but to really appreciate it you need to pull over. Lush greens, deep blues and just plain beauty were everywhere. It was a bit cool for the time of year with the temperature in the low sixties. It was also quite windy adding a lot of haze to the area. Still the west coast of California is up there in the “places to visit”  list. While a picture is worth a thousand words there is no substitute for being there. The man and dog in the picture below help to give a sense of scale to the place.

You’re right, it’s not the same as being there, but the pictures are great and I can use my imagination to fill in the blanks. It’s a beautiful looking coastline, thanks for sharing.

Good to hear from you Alan! I trust things are good out in your neck of the woods.
