H.M.S. Queen Mary

We stayed on the Queen Mary our last day before departing on the Carnival Splendor for the West Mexican coast. I liked staying there because you don’t often get a chance to stay in such unique accommodations. It was also a few hundred feet from the Splendor saving us a cab fare any other hotel would have required. It was like stepping back in time.

We reserved a table at the “better” dining room. After all, we were on holiday! The meal was a definite five star affair with both our plates prepared to perfection. I could see weight gain was going to be a challenge during our time off but again, ……….!

I have interior shots which will follow in time. There was a “majesty” to  the ship today’s cruise liners just don’t have. Granted part of it may be it’s older style. Still, the regal Queen Mary wears her name well. Well worth the experience!

But these shots are really cool and i will keep my eye out for your interior shots.
I’m sure this liner will have so much charm
