Barcelona, Spain

You can tell people new to cruising versus those of us fortunate enough to have “sailed” a few times. The vets no longer take pictures of the ships. This was Carnival’s newest and largest ship the “Dream”. I wasn’t fussy about the design of the “Dream” for reasons I won’t get into here. ┬áThe food, however, was great as was the service on board. This is one of the few pictures I took of the ship. They are a great way to travel.

We are walking toward ┬áthe statue of “Christopher Columbus” located just off the water in Barcelona. A great place to designate as the “meet here if lost” spot as it’s pretty hard to miss.

I know we should take more photos of the noteworthy sites in the places we visit but we like to walk around the more “normal” stuff and just get a feel for the place. The weather again was just fantastic.

We ambled into the most colourful market I have ever seen – pics to follow!
