Real Italian Pizza!

It’s one of the many things I love about Sharon. We are not eating at the Ritz. There’s no alcohol in that bottle and yet she is happy just to be with me! Well, she’s happier just to be with me in Italy but still….!

As I mentioned in my previous post, the reason we rented the Vespa was to “get out of town” so to speak and to see some of the local country. This pizza shop was as about as local as we were going to get.

We strolled away from the main street in our little town and happened upon this small restaurant. The sign said pizza but there were a dozen whole barbequed chickens ready for local comsumption.

Just a few tables and a coke machine, our rented Vespa and the Italian sun. It was a lovely day.
